Follow-up to Nature Abhors a Vacuum... It really does! :)

Here’s my new mat! How’d I get it?

 I didn’t get the mat from that promotion mentioned in the first article. However, a wonderful student had asked the management to reimburse me for the mat. That didn’t happen either. Ok, when does this story get better?? Here we go: said student took it upon herself to go shopping with her child and have him pick me a mat as a present! Not only that, it was a design I had looked at recently and liked, and in my favorite colors. Synchronicity and kindness, a winning combo!

As Einstein said:

 “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle."

I’ll take the miracle part anytime even if to my logical brain it’s coincidence or rationalization. It makes me happier to live life like this whenever I can and choose. To have the ability to change our outlook is something that no one can take away from us. That’s freedom.
